Our Opportunity An opportunity has developed within the Investment Management business to join the team in an important role for the business in 2024 and beyond. In that role you get the opportunity to play a key role in delivering investment accounting and reporting information to our internal clients. The possibility to enhance, improve and automate our processes for our monthly deliverables and ad hoc reporting’s. You will monitoring, assessing, and evaluating finance business processes in collaboration with the local controller to identify opportunities for improvement. Your role As an Investment Accounting & Reporting, Associate Director your main responsibilities will be: Responsibility for our different asset classes Preparing local globally accepted accounting principles/statutory and quarterly IFRS financial statements Quality assurance of the quarterly variance analysis supporting the group IFRS reporting Preparing of the analytic reports including all comments for the CIOs and CFOs Resolving operational day-to-day problems referred from other functions of the business, ensuring an efficient and high-quality service when providing procedural advice and/or information Overseeing and coordinating the balance sheet reconciliation process in accordance with group internal control guidelines Your Skills and Experience As an Investment Accounting & Reporting, Associate Director your skills and qualifications will ideally include: A bachelor degree (or equivalent) in accounting Knowledge of Investment products 5 or more years of experience in a related field Understanding of finance and accounting operations Good knowledge and practical working experience with international IFRS as well as local globally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements Good know how in insurance accounting matters is preferred Fluent written and spoken German and English
