Your Role We are looking for a Lead Developer (m/f/d) to join our agile and international team. In this role, you will be developing our SeaSchedule product whose objective is to ensure availability of correct, up-to-date, and comprehensive seafreight schedule information across Kuehne + Nagel's global seafreight network and systems. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your stakeholders. We want you to help take us to the next level! Your Responsibilities Understanding business requirements and translating them into running software.Managing the entire product lifecycle - from ideation through specification, prototyping, integration and maintenance.Collaborate very closely with architectsBring most recent technologies to life on top of an existing application landscape.Continuous improvement of our processes and working methods."You Build It, You Own It", the team is responsible for the whole software lifecycleTeam Lead for the Team Your Skills and Experiences Several years of active experience with agile software development, preferably matching our currently used technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Angular (or similar), Kafka, Postgres Database, Docker, build tools, Jenkins and Git. You should feel comfortable working in both backend and frontend.Knowledge of software craftsmanship targeting CI/CD, clean code.Experience with AWS is a big plus.You are familiar with software development practices in Agile environment, where concepts like “Teamwork and open communication” and “Pair programming and knowledge sharing” simply feel natural to you Developing yourself and the Team is always on your mind.Collaborative work in international teams inspires you.
