Are you passionate about labor related matters and growing into our organization?Then now is the time to explore the opportunities of PepsiCo: join us as the next Legal Associate Manager.Your mission:You will be responsible to provide pragmatic, business-oriented and cost-effective legal support to PepsiCo South West Europe on corporate related matters, as well as on Sales and Distribution, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Procurement and other general legal matters relevant to the business aiming to ensure protection of PepsiCo’s rights and interests, understanding and driving the business objectives while minimizing the risks of the company without slowing the pace of the business. ResponsibilitiesYour day to day with us: Management of corporate legal related matters for approx. 20 legal entities (Spain, Portugal and Italy). Occasionally, M&A projects.Commercial law, with special focus on sales and distribution. Also operations and procurement. Competition law related aspects will make part of legal assessment in these areas.Commercial contracts: drafting, review, negotiation and execution of a broad variety of agreements necessary for thecompany’s activity; close legal support to internal clients regarding all kind of related legal consultations, legal risk assessment and mitigation, etc. Key focus on sales and distribution, as well as manufacturing, logistics, procurement.Litigation: prevention or mitigation of litigious situations with distributors, customers and suppliers. Management ofpre-litigation situations and litigation coordination (administrative or judicial matters).Labour related matters: legal support to prevent / mitigate labour related risks in our relationships with distributorsand suppliers. Legal risk assessment in coordination with HR and external labour counsels, and support to labourlitigation cases where required.Key relevant projects: Provide legal support on some relevant strategic projects for the business, especially in sales and distribution as well as manufacturing / operations (the latter, including sustainability related projects).3PM: Legal support in relation with co-packers, co-manufacturers, review and negotiation of legal docs and commercial contracts, confidentiality, purchasing, distribution, manufacturing & supply, collaboration, etc. Legal support and strategy to manage conflicts with suppliers.Legal Trainings: Responsible for developing and delivering legal trainings on relevant topics to internal clients where advisable or required QualificationsWhat will you need to succeed?Excellent communication skills both in English and Spanish is required (Portuguese and Italian basic to medium knowledge is highly valued).Overall broad and high-quality legal knowledge, specifically:Commercial law, with special focus on sales and distribution, as well as operations and procurement. It includes contract drafting, review, negotiation, close legal support to internal clients for contractual drafting, negotiation, legal risk assessment, support to internal clients regarding all kind of related legal consultations, prevention of litigious matters, management of pre-litigation situations and litigation coordination.Competition law and employment law related to the abovementioned areas.Corporate law: management of corporate related matters for several legal entities. Occasionally, M&A projects.Legal coordination of business projects.Ability to anticipate legal issues and risks, develop legal strategy and set objectives.Management and coordination of pre-litigious and litigation processes (both administrative and judicial), excluding tax and labour – just legal support, not leading or coordination.Excellent analytical and drafting skills, attention to detail, provision of pragmatic solutions, and ability to understand complex situations.Outstanding negotiation skills with creative approach where required.Independency with a result-oriented mindset.Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines in a wide range of areas.
