Machine Operator - Saw

Saw Operators required at a location in Avonmouth, BS11 £26,461.50 per annum Working hours – 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 6am-2pm week 1 Monday – Wednesday 2pm-12pm, Thursdays 2pm-11.30pm week 2 – Fridays off! Operating metal saw and tyro to cut material to customer requirements Checks length, width, thickness, spec, alloy, grain direction, lot number before cutting Verifies parts are within customer required tolerances after cutting, using tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments Marks each part with hard stamp, grain flow, USD, lot number Ensures all cut material is on a fit for purpose pallet or skids for safe packaging Performs daily maintenance checks to metal saw Operates fork trucks and jib cranes when required Ensure productivity sheets are completed each day Performs daily housekeeping including the surrounding work area and metal saw.
