Are you looking for a hands-on opportunity in assembly? We are a dynamic and expanding company based in Waterbeach, Cambridge seeking Assembly Operatives to join our team. With new airlines coming on board, we need eager individuals ready to grow with us. Role Overview Position: Assembly Operative Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge Contract: Temporary to Permanent Hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Pay: £12.70 per hour (increasing with skill level) Training: A comprehensive 4-week training program Responsibilities: - Assemble parts and panels according to engineering drawings and specifications - Support other manufacturing departments when needed - Develop skills in your area, with your own workstation and tools provided What you will be doing: - Bonding - Potting Inserts - Filling - Sanding - De-coring - Drilling - Edge taping Key Performance Measures: - Parts completed per day - Efficiency What We're Looking For: - Basic understanding of engineering drawings - Experience with hand-held tools (sanders/drills) - Familiarity with measuring equipment (rulers/verniers/tape measure) - Time served or interest in hands-on production roles (e.g., carpentry or building background) - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions If you're ready to embark on a rewarding career, please send your CV highlighting relevent experience.
