Job Introduction As a Deployable Site Administrator at Merville Barracks, Colchester You'll provide immediate clerical support to the Unit or Headquarters you are utilized in. You will provide support where required across the Contract for all Units, providing continuity of service and assistance to the smooth running of the office deployed into. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.We are looking for someone who is outgoing. dynamic and has the ability to work without supervision.What you’ll do (depending on location and post): Provide assistance to military personnel where requiredProduce high quality documentation as required by the Unit or Headquarters deployed intoProviding assistance to military personnel in managing report writing schedules and Joint Personnel Administration workflow if requiredProducing / Maintaining / Updating Repeat Orders, Convening Orders, Delegation of Powers and Board of Enquiries.Producing and Maintaining Unit personnel records and reports from Corporal to Officer.Compiling and organising / preparing mailshots / invitations / posters / advertising for Unit/HQ.Producing sensitive written work on behalf of CO.Maintaining current and accurate records of Married Quarter addressesAssistance with unit-led functions, coffee mornings, etc.Acting as the initial contact for military personnel, families and outside organisationPreparing and distributing sensitive written work on behalf of Authority Line ManagerAnswer all telephone calls promptly and in a polite and professional manner.Any other ad hoc duties commensurate with the post deployed into.What you bring: Security Check (SC) clearance required (this is provided by Sodexo)Knowledge and aptitude for computers.2 years + Administration experience required Experience of MS Word, Excel, TEAMS and Outlook.Good Telephone Manner.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to prioritise workAbility to work to deadlinesAble to work with very limited oversight.Essential that you are discreet, sensitive and fully aware of the need for confidentiality.Experienced Administrator with demonstrable skills in autonomyKnowledge of working in a military environment (desirable but not essential)What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
