And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.As Network Technician, you should be very detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and have significant experience in supporting large scale, enterprise class networks. You should be highly competent in all aspects of installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware, software and fiber connectivity, all combined with a proven project delivery methodology. You will work with minimum supervision to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and to assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network as we expand. You will work with established best practices to refine operational procedures, develop new tooling and constantly think proactively and innovative. The desire and ability to work in an ambiguous, collaborative environment is essential for success.Key job responsibilities•Working closely with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.•Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with various stake holders to remove project obstacles.•Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.•Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.•Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.•Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.•Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.•You will be required to travel, up to 20% travel outside traditional work area may be required possibly including international travel*Please submit CV in EnglishAbout the teamDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Zaragoza, ESPBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Technical Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; or Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)- 2+ years of experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, and OTDR etc.) in a data center or critical environment- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English (Common European Framework of Reference C1)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, etc)- Experience with ethernet and IP networking- Experience working in virtualized enterprise networking environments- Familiarity with common networking terms and fabric-based network design- Experience with enterprise level infrastructure technologies (Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls etc.)
