We have a purpose-built Nursery in Bedfordshire, which is seeking a Nursery Manager to lead their established team. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the nursery. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and early years education, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. The Nursery Manager will also be instrumental in driving the strategic direction of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and liaising with outside agencies and stakeholders. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and support a team of nursery practitioners to deliver exceptional childcare Oversee daily operations to ensure the smooth running of the nursery Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to staff-to-child ratios Implement and monitor health and safety policies, ensuring a safe environment for children and staff Maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers, and the wider community Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory and Ofsted requirements Stay updated with changes in early years regulations and best practices Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or higher), and ideally leadership / management qualifications Significant experience in a managerial role within a large early years setting Experience of taking a setting through an Ofsted Inspection Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Comprehensive understanding of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework Excellent organizational and communication skills If you want to become a vital part of a nursery team and help create a warm, supportive environment where children thrive, don't miss this opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their lives.
