We have a modern and purpose designed setting in the Twickenham area which is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager. The nursery is designed to spark curiosity and imagination in children, filled with hand-picked resources to encourage self-directed play and discovery. Set close to the heart of town, this nursery is well served by local public transport and is only a short walk from the railway station and local bus routes. They place the children at the heart of everything they do and follow a philosophy a child-centred and love of the outdoors. The children enjoy regular trips into the local community and parks and they also have access to a secure outdoor space at the rear of the Nursery. They recently received an award for their menu which demonstrates their commitment to providing a healthy balanced diet to their children, with all meals cooked fresh on-site, every day. As the Nursery Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the nursery operations and compliance, leading the exceptional team, and maintaining commercial and educational standards. This is a role where your knowledge of children’s education, parent interaction and people development combine to create an environment of safety, learning and fun. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery Inspire and lead a team to deliver outstanding childcare Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources for children Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development Embed an effective key person approach to enable secure attachments for children Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor Understand and comply with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Significant experience working in full day-care nursery settings, with at least a couple of years as a Nursery Manager Experience leading a nursery through an Ofsted Inspection is highly desirable Level 3 qualification or above in childcare Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team Commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children If you are an experienced Nursery Manager looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
