Set in an imposing historic building close to Barnet, London, this modern nursery is seeking a L3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This a charming environment full of character, with modern age-appropriate rooms, and designed with the children in mind. This setting has created a safe, homely and nurturing space that enables children to thrive at their own pace, full of hand-picked resources to spark curiosity and imagination. There is also a secure outdoor area at the rear for children to enjoy activities in the fresh air, and they often visit the local parks in the community. As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education for young children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Implementing engaging activities, fostering positive relationships, and maintaining a nurturing environment, you will contribute to creating a positive and enriching early childhood experience. Responsibilities: Build strong and positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages the children's curiosity and exploration Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, fostering a love for learning and development Provide daily care routines, ensuring the well-being and happiness of each child Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification Previous experience in a nursery setting, demonstrating a genuine passion for early childhood education Excellent communication and teamwork skills Understanding of and commitment to promoting a child-centred and inclusive environment Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture SENCO or Forestry school qualification would be an advantage Discover a world of career opportunities with Nursery People, the specialist in nursery staffing.
