Nursery Practitioner Level 2

This is a great opportunity to join a nursery close to Hounslow which is looking for a level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This nursery is close to local transport links along with shops and cafes. This nursery has worked hard to create both indoor and outdoor environments that allows children to safely explore and investigate their environment. From mud kitchens to vegetable gardens, library and computer suite, they inspire young minds to learn how things work and evolve through play. As a Nursery Practitioner you will provide high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including play, arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor exploration, to stimulate children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively supervising children at all times, both indoors and outdoors Assist with personal care routines, such as feeding, changing nappies, and promoting good hygiene practices Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication, ensuring parents are kept informed about their child's progress Observe childrens’ behaviour and development, documenting observations and providing feedback to support individualized learning plans Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Recognised Level 2 Childcare qualification Previous experience of working in a childcare setting Able to collaborate with other nursery staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment, sharing ideas and resources to enhance the nursery experience for children and families Desire to participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early years education and childcare practices Your dream nursery job awaits at Nursery People, where we're the trusted recruitment partners of leading companies, big and small.
