Nursery Room Leader

We have a spacious nursery flooded with natural light that is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to join their friendly team. Close to transport links, this nursery offers plenty of resources for the children, including sensory play.  They have imaginatively designed outdoor spaces which enable the children to feel inspired as they become adventurous explorers, budding athletes or green-fingered gardeners. There are also peaceful areas which provide space for children to enjoy some quiet time with their friends. As a Nursery Room Leader you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of young learners. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming, organised, and stimulating room environment where children can explore, learn, and develop to their full potential. Responsibilities: Ensure positive partnerships with parents and carers with good communications and a thorough handover on daily collection Provide interesting and engaging learning experiences that are appropriate to their age and stage of development, and create a nurturing environment with all the required resources available to the children Regularly review and follow children’s care plans for any medical needs or dietary requirements, and inform management of any changes Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification Embrace a culture of continual improvement with ongoing learning Have previous experience of working within an Early Years setting Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required As a Nursery Room Leader you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of young learners.
