Position: Operations Manager Location: South Wales Hours: Monday - Friday Days Pay: £50,000 About your new Operations Manager role: Our client, a well-established company in the industrial sector, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their operations in South Wales. The Operations Manager will be responsible for: Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient production and high standards of health and safety. Leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence. Managing the financial performance of the operation, including budget planning and cost control. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Ensuring all staff are fully trained in safe working practices and proper use of equipment. Experience required for the Operations Manager role: Proven experience in a leadership role within a plant or similar industrial setting. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation. Technical expertise in managing fixed and mobile plant. Ability to manage financial performance and understand strategic business operations. Full UK driving licence.
