Payroll Assistant Salary up to £35K DOE We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a leading accountancy practice based in Southend On Sea on a full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing business and take on a key role in the payroll department. If you have payroll experience in either a UK accountancy practice or bureau then we would love to hear from you. Benefits: Competitive salary DOE Study support Regular salary reviews Great holiday package Supportive team environment Responsibilities: Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients using Payroll software as required Calculating and processing statutory deductions such as tax and national insurance Handling employee queries regarding pay and benefits Processing auto enrolment pensions on various softwares Assisting with year-end payroll procedures including P11D's and P60's General admin duties Requirements: At least 3 years experience working in payroll in a UK accountancy practice or bureau Must have experience with a Iris payroll Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently to deadlines
