They are looking for a skilled and motivated Permitting Consultant to join their expert team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the permitting process for a variety of mineral projects, ensuring that all applications comply with regulatory requirements and best practices. Permitting Consultant Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the mineral permitting process for various projects. Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance with regulations. Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process. Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments as required. Stay informed about changes in legislation, policies, and best practices related to mineral permitting. Provide expert advice and support to clients throughout the permitting process. Monitor and report on the status of permit applications, ensuring timely approvals. Qualifications: A degree in Planning, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in mineral permitting or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of UK planning and environmental legislation related to mineral development. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
