You will find management value your independent thought, consistent and objective assurance.Your key responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain an in-depth understanding of credit risk areas and supporting functionsExecute audit testing and co-ordinate with team members to ensure audit fieldwork is focused on the right areas and documentation meets high quality standardsIdentify risks, assess mitigating controls, and make recommendations on improving the control environmentPrepare commercially effective audit conclusions and findings, and present to GA senior management and business clientsFollow-up on open audit findings and their resolutionParticipate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving GA’s processes and supporting infrastructureYour skills and experiencesTeam-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityHighly motivated with the ability to multi-task and remain organised in a fast-paced environmentIndependent in judgment with the ability to challenge and be challenged whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalismStrong verbal and written communication skills3+ years of experience in (i) a professional or internal audit role within the financial services / banking industry or (ii) a related control functionDetailed understanding of practical and theoretical aspects of credit risk management and operations best supported by formal certifications or practical experience in these areas.Accustomed to operating in a highly regulated environment.Having German-language skills would be an advantageOur values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
