Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Enterprise Applications, Migration & Modernization (EAMM) team as a Business Development Specialist!AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Field SAP BD Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region. You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS solutions. BD Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service(s). As a BD Specialist, you will be the direct business owner for geo-segments, or areas, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You will develop and influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services, and drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities. You will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue. About the teamThe WWSO EAMM team positions AWS as the best place to run SAP Applications workloads. Our team helps customers migrate SAP workloads to the AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential. As a Business Development Specialist on the EAMM team, you will create scaled GTM motions for SAP workloads to expand adoption of this motion including SAP RISE into new or existing customer portfolios. This position will help EMEA AWS customers adopt SAP workloads and expand into more AWS services to drive customer We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Madrid, ESPBASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Foundational understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and solutions architecture• Strong ability to understand complex sales plays and determine how to apply a customer’s specific use case• Experience with technical business development, sales, strategic partnerships, and program/product management• Industry experience with SAP (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics)• Business fluent English and Business fluent Spanish/ ItalianPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCollege/university degree and AWS Cloud Practitioner certification • In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and solutions architecture• Excellent business judgement and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically • Ability to insist on the highest standards for self and others; drive accountability for results• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and drive customer relationships build on trust and results• Experience influencing and negotiating with customers, up to the c-suite or VP level• Experience in describing and selling technical cloud services or software technology products
