Exciting new opportunity for a Principal Software Engineer in Herefordshire to join an ambitious R&D led company delivering innovative products for the defence sector. I am seeking an experienced and ambitious individual with strong academics and a broad knowledge of programming languages including Embedded C / C++ including ARM Cortex, You should have knowledge of Windows and linux with GUI development and OOD and UML knowledge. Applicants should also have hardware interfacing and driver development experience. Any radio domain knowledge or experience working with military products and working to coding guidelines and standards such as MISRA would be desirable. The Principal Software Engineer will be a good communicator, able to work flexibly in a small team and have good attention to detail.
