Procurement Coordinator Location: Malvern Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Contract: Permanent Become a key player at a global-leading manufacturing company! Join our team and take your career to the next level! Responsibilities: Collaborate with all departments to plan and prioritize supply activities. Review planned orders and create requisitions for raw materials. Support the Procurement Specialist with all procurement functions. Provide holiday/absence cover for the Procurement Specialist. Manage UK Extrusion procurement, including the forecast process and S&OP. Track order acknowledgments, prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and ensure internal customers are informed of potential interruptions. Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and costs. Review, update, and maintain purchase orders until closure. Ensure orders comply with supplier agreements and contracts, and report any non-conformances. Assist finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement actions to achieve them. Purchase lamination adhesives. Control inventory levels against budget. Requirements: Experience with SAP is an advantage, but full training will be provided. Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Office; Excel skills are essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritize workload effectively. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Effective problem-solving abilities.
