Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for a Programme Manager to join Our Emerging Tech team based in Coventry. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full end-to-end delivery of multiple Emerging Technology projects, from strategy and inception through to Go-Live and working with internal teams across our capital and commercial services Business and wider Severn Trent, and external partners. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW As a programme Manager You will Working alongside our colleagues in Capital Design, Delivery, commercial and Chief Engineer teams and engaging key internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of key emerging Technology projects. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to transform our approach to Capital Design and Delivery using technology. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of transformational change programmes, Drive the identification and management of risks which could impact on the successful delivery of programmes. We want someone who can be an innovative leader, thinking differently and challenging the norm and apply thinking beyond simply a programme management function. You will actively participate in communities of practice, external and internal groups to drive company improvements. You will drive pace, by making quick decisions with confidence, recognising that speed in critical to our success. To succeed in this role, you are expected to have smart influencing, commercial drive, clear and quick thinking and personal maturity. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight. You’ll come with experience in delivering innovative technology solution, ideally as a startup or in a disruptive environment. Capital infrastructure sector experience or similar and this could be in Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, Aerospace, power, and utilities. STEM or business qualification. Prince or APM accredited. Proven experience in delivering transformation projects in complex environment. Strong planning and implementation skills, focused on delivery of agreed outcomes. For this role, we would love you to have some experience working with an array of stakeholders, working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and have excellent communication and Leadership skills.
