Project Manager – Devon An incredible opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a well-established regional building contractor on a permanent basis! This contractor offers a complete package of construction-related services including design and build through to refurbishment and associated fit-out works with clients including Government, Local Authorities, Healthcare and Universities. As the Project Manager, you will be working for a respectable and thriving contractor managing commercial schemes responsible for delivering results on time, within budget and to the agreed quality and specification. To be considered for this role, it is essential you have previously worked for a main contractor and have recently managed the life cycle of large value commercial schemes. Responsibilities: Maintain & develop overall strategy for the project Manage and maintain a clear staffing structure Procure materials, plant and sub-contractors Ensure all works carried out are accordance with all HS&E and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans Mitigate legal issues and defects liability for the business Liaise with Contracts Managers on a Monthly basis, client and end users Requirements: Previous experience of managing large value commercial schemes CSCS, First Aid at work, SMSTS Relevant degree or equivalent construction related qualification Relevant Driving licence Steel frame experience desirable JCT/NEC/Design & Build experience If you would like to discuss, please do call RGB Recruitment Exeter and ask for Nicky Harris.
