We are recruiting on behalf of a leading technology client who is looking for an experienced Radio Frequency RF SoC Engineer to join their cutting-edge silicon design team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development, integration, and optimisation of complex RF SoCs (Systems-on-Chip) for a variety of communication applications. Role Overview: Design, analyse, and validate RF systems at the architecture level for high-performance SoCs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end RF solutions, from system-level design to final product integration. Optimise RF system behaviour through simulations, modeling, and algorithm development, ensuring minimal interference and maximum efficiency. Key Responsibilities as an RF SoC Engineer: Develop and define RF system architectures, including level plans and performance specifications. Analyse RF systems to ensure optimal performance and integrity under varied conditions. Work closely with analog mixed-signal (AMS) and digital teams to optimise RF systems for power, noise, and linearity. Validate and troubleshoot RF systems in lab environments using tools like spectrum analysers and vector network analysers. Create comprehensive technical documentation for system design and validation. Qualifications as an RF Soc Engineer: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in RF systems design and integration, particularly for communication systems. Strong understanding of RF components, including filters, LNAs, mixers, and calibration algorithms. Proficiency in RF simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB, ADS, or equivalent. Experience with RF measurement tools and familiarity with wireless communication standards like 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, or satellite. Why Join?
