Senior Business Development Manager - Global Experiential Marketing Agency – London Are you a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? DNA Recruit is working with a Global Experiential Marketing Agency to find them a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager . The agency is an innovative experiential solutions partner dedicated to delivering groundbreaking and inspirational solutions tailored to their clients' needs. Role Overview: This is a contract maternity cover role for one year, with the potential for a permanent position. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in driving business growth within your client portfolio, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction. While the Project Delivery team manages day-to-day project execution, you will ensure these projects meet client needs and profitability goals. This proactive sales role emphasizes prospecting and developing new business, with a focus on both existing account management and new client acquisition. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining positive and trusted relationships, and exceeding client expectations. Drive business growth within your assigned client portfolio. Oversee client account financial forecasting, revenue targets, and account profitability, working closely with Project Delivery teams. Develop client briefs and present them to the agency’s delivery teams. Lead pitch work, ensuring effective business strategy and financial planning to secure project wins and profitability. Provide comprehensive project overviews and represent the client's voice in internal reviews. Achieve all sales KPIs through significant prospecting and presenting our capabilities to new clients. Collaborate with Creative and Project Delivery teams to prepare and deliver client presentations, both online and in person. Represent the agency in client and stakeholder forums, supporting invoicing and Purchase Order processes. Negotiate pitch proposals with clients and procurement teams. Occasionally manage small projects, requiring previous events experience. Skills and Experience: Extensive senior-level business development/account management experience. Proven track record in delivering high-profile, complex, and large-budget projects in an agency setting. Broad experience across multiple delivery sectors, including exhibitions, events, conferences, and more. Strong leadership qualities and experience working with senior-level client groups and procurement teams. Expertise in sales, particularly in upselling and cross-selling within existing clients. Skilled in prospecting and developing new business opportunities. Excellent commercial awareness and profitability management skills. International experience, with an understanding of multi-currency projects and regional nuances. Strong negotiation skills. Confidence and experience working with Producers, Project Managers, and Technical Managers. High computer literacy, especially with Microsoft applications.
