Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst to join an exciting Retail company experiencing huge growth based in central Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:£65,000 - £75,000 plus 15% bonus, hybrid and generous wider benefits packageRole responsibilities will include but not limited to:Use financial analysis to identify data insights to drive action within the business, making actionable recommendations for senior leadersComplete scenario modelling efforts across a wide range of areas, including benchmarking both internally and versus comp set performance to identify areas of opportunityDefining clear criteria to assess performance of assets using leading and lagging indicators, and, working cross functionally, support the improvement in performance of these assetsScenario modelling for key business stakeholders, to support commercial decision making, aligned to strategic prioritiesSupport the business to assess viability of investments through business case preparation and review across a wide range of areasThrough variance and trend analysis, identify forecast gaps and improve accuracy of forecast ongoing, including a continuous feedback loop with Commercial teamsMaintain a log of risks and opportunities within the forecast outlook, and support strategic projects to drive incremental revenue upsidePartner with BI teams to enhance reporting capability, eg automation of external benchmarking datasets and visualisation of data including through PowerBIDevelop dashboards using financial metrics and KPIs to give a clear view of business performanceSupport the routine reporting requirements of the business through monthly and quarterly cycleUpdating key reports required by the business to support strategic decisions (e.g. gross operating profit reporting, return on sale)Person specification:CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualifiedAble to build high-quality, accurate financial models which are accessible to all, and be able to analyse a range of information sources to quickly identify the key variables and scenarios that will determine the success of a decisionExcellent system and modelling skills (IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Excel, PowerBI, Business Modelling tools and other related systems)Thrive in working to short and moving deadlines and will be able to manage multiple prioritiesHave strong partnering skills and be able to influence senior stakeholders, cross-functionallyAs well as an acumen for numbers and logical problems, you should have good commercial insight and communication skills and with the confidence to challenge others to improve company performanceHighly capable, enthusiastic, motivated, with a sharp attention to detail and able to learn new processes, systems, and tasks quicklyFor the right person the client is offering a very competitive:£65,000 - £75,000 plus 15% bonus, hybrid and generous wider benefits packageRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
