We are looking for a Network Planning & Optimization Consultant. If you are looking for challenges and want to work on improving mobile network performance, this opportunity is for you!
DESCRIPTION:
As a Network Planning & Optimization consultant, your day-by-day goal will be to improve overall network performance to our customers. Your key activities will be, including but not limited to:
- Planning and optimization activities for all generation of mobile networks (2G up to 5G);
- DriveTest Processing, Analysis & Report with the most widely used tools (ex: TEMS Discovery), including E2E logs analysis and optimization;
- Initial Tuning and Single Site optimization activities for all technologies;
- Cluster tuning and optimization to achieve the target KPI;
- KPI Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting;
- Network Performance Benchmark;
- KPI and Parameter mapping for multi-vendor projects;
- Parameter inconsistencies check and database correction;
- Day by day knowledge leverage within the team & technical workshop creation as part of our knowledge share best practices.
Must Have:
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineer or similar;
- Background in communications theory and RF basics, broad knowledge of other wireless technology such as NB-IoT, VoLTE, WCDMA and GSM;
- Proven experience in legacy technologies such as 2G/3G/4G/5G including their main E2E features;
- Knowledge of 5G NR networks and the associated 3GPP specifications, specifically on RAN features, optimization, air interface parameters, radio resource management, signaling, mobility settings, idle and active mode call processing;
- Knowledge of RAN KPIs, counters, definitions of optimization parameters and their impacts on network performance and capacity;
- Know-how in the Mobile Network lifecycle and processes (modernization, swap, roll-out, etc);
- Hands-on experience with performance management, RF optimization, and capacity planning, especially in LTE & 5G networks;
- Experience in Planning & Optimization processes and tools;
- Initial Tuning, Single Site Validation, Drive test, Cluster Optimization, Radio Network Planning, Network Audit, KPI Monitoring;- ATOLL, TEMS Discovery, Performance Manager, U2000, etc...
- 9+ years of experience;
- Portuguese & English (B2) knowledge is mandatory;
- Mandatory Ericsson and Nokia vendor knowledge;
Nice To Have:
-French or Spanish is a Plus
-Knowledge in Open-Ran protocols is a plus;-Knowledge in BI, Data Processing, SQL and Scripting (ex: python) is a plus.
