We are actively recruiting for a Service Manager that offers an opportunity to work closely with individuals requiring varied support, fostering their personal growth and well-being across different aspects of daily life. The Service Manager will be tasked with providing both practical assistance and emotional support, encouraging individuals to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Key responsibilities of the Service Manager include: Maintaining the relevance of services to individuals' needs and purchaser requirements through ongoing planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Identifying opportunities for the development of new services and contributing to their establishment. Ensuring that service delivery meets agreed standards, in compliance with relevant legislation and quality benchmarks. Collaborating with the senior management team to implement and monitor quality assurance systems. Upholding the standards outlined in the Scottish Social Services Council Code of Practice and overseeing staff supervision and appraisal processes. Ideal candidates for this role should demonstrate a strong passion and commitment to leading a well-established service and team towards achieving its objectives. They should possess: Experience in working with vulnerable individuals and leading service delivery teams, ensuring a safe operating environment. Proficiency in negotiation and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and housing associations. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a demanding environment.
