What you will do
Create, customize, and optimize Shopify themes for a responsive and user-friendly eCommerce experience;
Seamlessly integrate third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs, inventory management) with Shopify, ensuring a smooth and secure data flow;
Leverage advanced features of Shopify Plus, including Scripts, Flow, and wholesale channel functionality, for enhanced store performance and automation;
Maintain clear and thorough documentation for custom code, APIs, and other technical implementations for ease of future reference;
Identify, debug, and resolve issues with the Shopify store’s functionality, ensuring minimal disruption to operations;
Work with the Development team to ensure that technical requirements and designs are understood and that best practices are followed for functionality, performance, and security;
Work with project management for effort estimates, planning, and removing technical roadblocks;
Build, maintain, and optimize APIs for custom integrations with other systems, ensuring efficient and secure data communication;
Be involved in code reviews as both a participant and reviewer.
Must haves
Proven experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks;
Experienced (3-5 years), in eCommerce platform development, with an aptitude for problem solving;
Strong background in core JavaScript (or any popular flavor) and related front-end frameworks;
Strong background in integrating APIs and managing API endpoints for secure data transactions;
Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues independently;
Effective collaboration and communication with both technical and non-technical teams;
Upper-Intermediate English level.
