Portuguese company hires for hybrid work
Location: Applicants must reside, preferably, in Lisbon, Portugal

About the Role
We are looking for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER with strong expertise in React and TypeScript, who will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for a leading life sciences company. The ideal candidate will also contribute to architectural decisions, collaborate with stakeholders, and support new feature implementations. DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Design scalable and maintainable solutions for new feature implementations.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure best practices in frontend development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, tech leads, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize application performance and streamline processes to improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- +5 years to +10 years of experience in frontend development with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration.
- Solid foundation in computer science concepts (algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns, databases, and virtualization).
- Experience in software documentation and solution organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Work Model & Location
- Hybrid: 70% remote, 30% on-site.
- Location: Lisbon.
- Sector: Telecommunications.
- Time Zone: CET (Central European Time).
