To support this journey, we are actively seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on Cloud and AI to join our team.WHO?VORTEX-CoLab is looking for an exceptional Software Engineer - Cloud and AI with BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar, specializing in Cloud and AI technologies with a strong emphasis on data analytics and that gathers the following requirements: 4-6 years of professional experience in software development; Proficiency in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch; Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); Solid knowledge of .NET Platform; Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana); Familiarity with CI/CD systems and best practices; Experience with UI/UX design tools and mock-ups; Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be independent preferably with coaching experience, collaborative environment; Experience in Agile methodologies in particular scrum. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; Experience with version control systems, specifically Git. WHAT?As a Software Engineer - Cloud and AI at Vortex-CoLab, you will work with a cross-functional team of other researchers and engineers to support R&D projects related to our innovation team in perception activities as well as robotics and advanced simulations. How you can expect to fill your days: Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven software solutions using AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch; Implement and integrate cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP; Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core; Utilize the Elastic Stack for data ingestion, storage, and analysis; Work with CI/CD systems to automate and streamline the development process; Create UI/UX mock-ups to facilitate design and development of user interfaces; Perform data fusion from multiple sources to create comprehensive data models and insights; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components; Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and domains as required by projects.
