Scrub My Street! Our public sector client is looking for candidates to join their street cleansing team to tackle local neighbourhoods and bring these up to higher standards Start Date - Monday 2nd September Location - Edinburgh Rate of pay - £12.59 per hour rising to £12.95 as of week 13 Hours of Work - Tuesday to Friday 06.00-16.45 with 45min Duration - Temporary Ongoing As part of the scrub my street team you will: Sweep and clean streets and public areas using the necessary equipment and tools provided. Collect and dispose of litter to ensure a pristine appearance. Collaborate with team members to tackle special projects and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of Edinburgh. Provide excellent customer service by assisting pedestrians and answering their questions when needed. Use various types of equipment to remove weeds, chewing gum and graffiti What we expect from you: Honest, punctual candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in order to progress within the company. You will be working in the public eye around areas with high profile clients such as councillors, MPs etc therefore you must be well presented and carrying out duties professionally at all times.
