Supply Chain/ Merchandiser Mid Kent £26k – £28k DOE Permanent, Full-time position My client based in Sittingbourne is looking to recruit a switched on and ambitious Supply Chain Administrator to join them. This role is focused on supporting their growing supply chain team and developing effective working relationships with their overseas suppliers. Duties for this role include but are not limited to: Oversee timely delivery of goods from suppliers. Responsible for purchasing of all new lines/rebuys for designated customers, in line with target delivery dates to meet specified service levels and stock holding targets. Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs / producing analysis to determine replenishment strategy. Raising and maintaining purchase orders to ensure on time delivery by working with overseas/ UK suppliers, taking into account MOQ/ lead times/ holidays. Ensure accuracy of delivery dates on Pos. Establish, build, and maintain relationships with core suppliers. Managing and collating weekly reports Update internal databases with order details, including dates, vendors, and quantities. Liaise with suppliers for other ad hoc information. Assist with new product setup’s. The successful Merchandising candidate for this role will have: Goodadministrative skills Good working knowledge of Excel (Formulas, V Lookups, Calculations) Strong communication skills to be able to build good relationships with senior members of the business as well as suppliers. Computer Literate This is an excellent role for someone with experience within a similar position to develop their skills and grow within a leading company.
