Job Title : Supply Chain and Logistics Manager Type : Full time Location : Wrexham Pay Rate : £31.000 - 32.000 Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 0800-1700 Our client in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to lead and optimise operations in this dynamic role. Join a family-owned company at an exciting time of growth and innovation. Responsibilities : Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance logistics and supply chain operations. Manage procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution across multiple sites. Collaborate closely with internal teams (production, sales, customer service) to ensure seamless coordination. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers. Monitor and analyse KPIs to improve supply chain performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Optimize inventory levels while minimizing excess stock across sites. Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and external partners. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Qualification in Supply Chain Management preferred. Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly HMRC regulations in the food industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Xero software is a plus.
