EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW In this stand-alone role, as our Supply Chain and Performance Manager you will be fundamental to helping Severn Trent Water to achieve our strategic goals through continuous improvement and ensuring we’re best in class within the sector. We have three distinct areas you will oversee and drive forwards. Being accountable for our suppliers’ performance, ensuring they deliver against their contractual promises and ultimately allowing us to deliver an outstanding service to the business. Accountable for performance reporting within this the business area, own the business reporting framework including line of sight. Manage inventory levels ensuring we have the right stock at the right level in the right place to allow our operational teams to fulfil on their duties. Other key accountabilities in the role are:- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities related to our internal teams and suppliers. Effectively improve a wide span of metrics such as customer (internal) compliance; Operational expenditure; supplier performance; carbon emissions. To be able to lead and direct analytical workstreams within our supply chain to drive meaningful conclusions and drive improvement initiatives. Instigate and drive root cause analysis projects related to poor performance metrics and implement improvement change programs. We’ll look for you to have excellent leadership skills, with previous experience in an analytically focused role, and using these skills to be performance driven in leading a high performing team. You will use your aptitude & skills in data to help drive our long-term strategy along with being able to make recommendations to improve our performance.
