Position: Tag Management Consultant Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months Location: Hybrid – London Language: English Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Tag Management Consultant to join our client’s dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Adobe Analytics and other enterprise-level analytics tools, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product owners, and engineers, to gather reporting requirements, implement tagging specifications, and ensure data accuracy. Responsibilities Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with Food Marketing, Product Owners, and engineers to understand reporting needs and provide recommendations based on business experience, weighing cost versus benefit. Documentation : Create clear, detailed tagging specifications using an existing template, including example code snippets and expected outputs. Development : Implement changes in the Tealium tag management system to ensure the required output is delivered to Adobe Analytics and the broader Tealium Data Layer, for use by other third-party tags (e.g., CDP). Tealium Configuration : Set up Tealium to map data into Adobe Analytics dimensions and metrics. Adobe Configuration : Configure dimensions and metrics in Adobe Analytics to achieve the desired reporting outputs. Set up processing rules and classifications to enhance raw data where beneficial. Stakeholder Management : Communicate reporting outputs with Food stakeholders to ensure clarity and hand over to O&O analysts for deeper analysis when necessary. Auditing : Develop ObservePoint audits and rules for ongoing tracking tests. Set up alerts in ObservePoint and/or Adobe to proactively identify missing or incorrect data. Community Presence : Actively participate in the analytics and reporting community, addressing queries related to implementation. Key Skills Excellent documentation skills with experience in writing tagging specifications. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms. At least 4 years’ experience with an enterprise-level analytics tool (GA4, Adobe Analytics, or similar). Proficient in JavaScript and HTML. Exceptional attention to detail and focus on accuracy. Self-sufficient with a strong ability to conduct investigations and research to solve problems. Experience in writing extensions within a tag management tool (Tealium, Ensighten, Adobe Launch) is desirable. Experience in tracking Single Page Applications (SPA) is desirable. Experience in a retail environment is advantageous. Familiarity with the JIRA system for job management is beneficial. Knowledge of digital A/B testing approaches and tracking issues is desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
