They are focussed on building a community of passionate individuals committed to shaping the future; providing the chance to work on cutting-edge projects in the renewable energy sector and offer a culture where collaboration and inclusivity thrive alongside opportunities for professional growth and development.The RoleReporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Tax Manager will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure tax compliance of all BSR Group entities and aid on tax strategy for the group.This role is a technical post which includes tax accounting and compliance for all group entities and will be exposed to the operational side of the business. The Tax Manager will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to manage and oversee all tax areas, providing support to both internal and external stakeholders.Tax Compliance Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including corporation tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes for all BSR Group entities. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the group's tax position, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. Tax Strategy and Advisory Provide support on tax elements of financial modeling. Identify and assess potential tax risks, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate such risks. Provide strategic tax advice, offering insights on the tax implications of different scenarios such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A).Transfer Pricing and CCO ComplianceLead on Transfer Pricing and Corporate Criminal Offense (CCO) compliance, ensuring appropriate controls and monitoring are in place.Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate with key stakeholders to formulate tax-efficient strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Build and maintain effective relationships with external parties, including tax authorities and advisors.Tax Reporting and TrainingPrepare and review tax-related disclosures for statutory reporting. Offer training and support to finance and other departments, enhancing understanding of tax implications and compliance requirements.About youQualified CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser).Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.Proven attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.Organized and methodical approach to working.Self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.International tax exposure, particularly in Australia, would be advantageous but is not essential.Desired competenciesOrganisational Agility:Knowledgeable about how organizations work.
