Job Title: Technical Director - Temporary Works Design and Construction Location: Surrey Salary Range: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum We are currently seeking a Technical Director with expertise in temporary works design and construction methods to join our team in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both bespoke and proprietary temporary works design, as well as a solid understanding of geotechnical principles. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the temporary works design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for construction challenges. Take on leadership responsibilities, including team management and mentoring. Represent the company in project meetings and client interactions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Extensive experience in temporary works design and construction methods. Strong understanding of geotechnical principles. Proven track record of successful project delivery and leadership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartered status is desirable. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum. The role will involve time spent in the office and at project meetings/visits.
