We are looking for a technical learning professional with an exceptional learning experience design and content development skill set to analyze our business needs and deploy tailored solutions for new products along the leaner journeys.Key job responsibilities- Analyze the audience, environment, technologies, content, and operational constraints to identify business relevant learning objectives and propose efficient and scalable products.- Design tailored curricula considering UI, accessibility & DEI standards and trade-offs associated with selecting the best delivery methods.- Develop world-class learning products deeply integrated into workflows in a responsive design, leveraging authoring tools, API integration and JavaScript.- Continuously evaluate and enhance solutions, considering factors such as quality, business impact, scalability, and sustainability.- Take a data driven approach to understand successes and improvement opportunities for the designed solution while establishing methods for ensuring both consistency and quality.- Partner effectively with technology, operations and field teams worldwide.About the teamWe are a multidisciplinary team of instructional designers, media designers and technical program managers that is driven to deliver earth-best learning products. We are collaborative, fun, and focused on doing great work while learning and growing.Working with peer instructional designers, media designers, program managers, field teams and tech partners across the world, you'll create and deliver world-class training material that will benefit all Amazon employees across the EU network and beyond.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Expertise in instructional design and experience designing solutions that require advanced technical features (e.g., interactive simulations, adaptive learning technologies, API integration).- Proven track record of designing and developing learning products that positively impact specific operational success metrics (e.g., learner engagement, knowledge retention, performance improvement).- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Captivate, Lectora)- Foundational programming and coding skills (preferably with JavaScript), such as functions, conditionals, arrays, loops, and basic troubleshooting.- Foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS, including understanding of basic elements, styling, and troubleshooting.- Understanding of how Learning Management Systems (LMS) work, including commons LMS features and the use of eLearning protocols(xAPI, CMI5, SCORM) to communicate information and create engaging learning experiences.- Experience in project planning and execution within the context of eLearning design and development.- Proficiency in using data analytics and metrics to measure learning outcomes and improve instructional design strategies.- Ability to identify effective ways of working and establish mechanisms (e.g., mentoring, up-skilling sessions, creating documentation) to share knowledge with junior team members.- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusive learning experiences (e.g., WCAG compliance).- Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities and tight deadlines.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's or other advanced degree in a related discipline(e.g., Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, UX Design).- Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.- Knowledge of User Experience (UX) principles to create intuitive and engaging learning experiences, with familiarity in UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).- Experience developing game-like elements and simulations to create immersive and engaging learning environments.- Expertise in exploring the latest technical developments such as AI, chatbots, and AR/VR, with the technical understanding to identify and implement reasonable use cases.
