Trainee Cover Supervisor in Folkestone, KentLong-term/Daily Roles AvailableImmediate Starts Available £90-£110 per day (dependant on experience) Pearson Whiffin are excited to develop our pool of Folkestone based Trainee Cover Supervisors who are able to provide flexible cover solutions to schools in the local area. If you have experience working with secondary age children and you want to take that experience into a secondary school, then a cover supervisor role may be the right job for you! You could be a youth worker, a higher-level teaching assistant, a sports coach or overseas trained teacher looking for a new challenge. A cover supervisor is a classroom-based role covering for a qualified teacher in their absence. You will not need any subject specialism although if you have it will be a benefit. You will offer support across all areas of the curriculum and with age groups from year 7 to year 13. You will deliver pre-planned lesson material and supervise behaviour during class whilst ensuring that a safe and inclusive learning environment is maintained. You will not be expected to plan, prepare, mark or assess work. For those candidates with a passion for working with children but without the qualifications this can be an ideal role.
