Pertemps Enfield are currently looking for a Trainee Finance Assistant to work with an established company based in Suffolk. This is a Permanent position and interviews are taking place as soon as requested. Job requirement Paperless filing of Supplier purchase invoices/statements Assisting with Customer requests and/or queries Reconciling and filing Customer remittances Assisting Purchase Ledger Processing of Purchase invoices Allocating PODs to jobs Assisting with invoice queries Assisting Sales Ledger Adding costs to jobs Assisting with the raising and sending of invoices to our customers Sending statements to our customers, either as per monthly schedule or upon request. Filing management Maintaining paper filing process Filing completed job files Reporting to and assisting with any other tasks the Finance Manager may see fit. Hours of Work Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm You may be required to work additional hours dependant on business / customer requirements. Skill Set Experience of working within a customer service or administrative role. Experience working in a finance or freight forwarding role is desirable but not essential. Pass Grade in GCSE English & Maths or Equivalent. Computer literate and able to learn how to use new systems effectively. Ability to work collaboratively as a team player. Confident using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good attention to detail when handling data. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
