Trainee/Junior Bid Writer - Plymouth Rare Opportunity Alert! Due to increase of works, a great opportunity has arisen for a Trainee/Junior Bid Writer to join an established construction company on a permanent basis. If you are looking to kick start or elevate your career within Bid Writing, this could be the opportunity for you! You will be working with and supporting and already established and experienced Bid Writer specialising in new build and refurbishments within Education, Commercial, Retail, Leisure and Healthcare across Devon valuing up to a couple million. You will assist with all elements of bid and proposal writing and management (PQQ, tender and presentation stages) and will therefore play a crucial role within the team! Responsibilities: Co-ordinating tenders Work with the team to plan, manage and complete selection questionnaires and tender submissions Managing internal data sources and extracting appropriate information Managing bid timetables and associated meeting schedules Research and write specific information to support bids Read and review all associated client documentation provided with the bid Assist with development and maintenance of the bid library Review submissions for quality and accuracy Research and compose case studies Gather appropriate internal and external feedback on bids Requirements: A-level or equivalent in English Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and written Excellent IT skills, proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook High levels of attention to detail Interest in the Construction industry Ability to fully engage with all levels of employees High levels of commitment to ensure winning submissions Driving licence is required, and DBS may be conducted If you would like to discuss, please do call RGB Recruitment Exeter and ask for Nicky Harris.
