Job Title: Trainee Service Advisor Salary: £23 - 28K depending on experience Location: Kingswood, Bristol Working Hours: 45 hours per week worked within Monday-Friday 07:30-17:30 Saturday 08:00-12:30 (required to work on rotation. Paid at overtime rates) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Holiday: 30 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays) Driver Licence Required: Yes Training is provided. The Role Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will deliver top-tier satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers. As the face of the company, your duties include welcoming customers to the service department, ensuring their vehicles meet the Manufacturers Standards of Customer Excellence, organising service bookings, producing quotations, processing payments, and handing over vehicles with a summary of the work done. You will also address and resolve customer queries and complaints, aiming for mutual satisfaction without escalation. Responsibilities include: - Handle customer inquiries, book vehicles, and enter data into the DMS system. - Arrange vehicle drop-off and collection, provide quotes, and check vehicle and customer history for extra work. - Enter details into the DMS to create job cards, order parts, and keep accurate records. - Check account status, agree on payment terms, and coordinate for extra work approval. - Ensure work progresses on time, confirm vehicle readiness, handle invoicing and payments, and suggest additional products. - Resolve customer issues for mutual satisfaction. - Review manufacturer bulletins and marketing promotions, and coordinate with manufacturers or warranty providers for approvals. - Maintain customer records, job cards, and product knowledge, ensuring compliance with laws and company procedures. - Assist the Service Manager with tasks and uphold the highest standards for the manufacturer brands.
