Wood Machinist Birmingham Permanent Opportunity Up to £31,000k DOE We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our well-established clients who is a leading manufacturing company. As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a skilled Woodwork machinist to join the team. Responsibilities: Experience of wood working machinery, table saws, crosscut saw and circle saws is essential Must have experience of all types of board and timber related products Able to work to cutting lists Maintain housekeeping to the highest of standards The successful candidate must: Be able to consistently work to a high standard. Take pride in their own work and carry out their own quality checks Be able to manage their own workload and keep to deadlines Be a practical thinker, able to resolve issues with minimal involvement from other departments / management Be flexible able to react to an ever-evolving production plan Work to out high level of Health sand safety regulations at all times. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate £11.30 Saturday rate of pay £16.95 Time keeping bonus of £20 per week 2-week holiday at Christmas plus 3 weeks to take throughout the year All bank holiday Mondays off Free parking Pension Plan Hours of work: 4-day week (1 day off midweek) 7:50am- 5.20pm - half an hour unpaid lunch break Saturday 7:50am- 3:20pm- half an hour unpaid lunch break If you are a motivated individual with the experience in this field, then we would love to hear from you.
