l Free Parking l Ongoing position l Temp to perm available l Weekdays only l Immediate start l £12 - £14ph The Role We are currently seeking a skilled Wood Sander/Prepper/Painter to join our clients production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for preparing wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, smoothing, and prepping them to perfection and then painting the finished article. Operate sanding equipment and hand tools to smooth wood surfaces. Sanding wood items to prepare them for finishing. Preparing wood products for painting, including cleaning, filling, and priming. Applying paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to wood products Inspecting finished products for quality and consistency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area. Successful Applicants Previous experience in wood sanding, prepping and painting. Proficiency in operating sanding equipment and hand tools. Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
