History Teacher Are you a specialist in History and want to teach in a large Durham Secondary School? This school are looking for a committed and passionate teacher of History to join them. History Teacher 1 year contract Durham Located in Durham, this school are looking to appoint an outstanding History teacher to join their highly motivated and passionate team. The role is that of a full time member of the Humanities department, with a specialism in History. You will be required to teach to KS3/4 and should be confident in your curriculum knowledge and ability. Our Client is a rapidly improving school, with pupils joining the school with attainment figures on the whole lower than the national average. They gained Ofsted 'Good' in their most recent inspection with all pupils demonstrating good progress. The post-holder will re required to teach History to all age groups across the school which goes from 11-18. Standards are set high at the school, and the successful candidate should have high expectations of both themselves and the staff and pupils around them. The school are looking for a passionate and driven History teacher who is prepared to go the extra mile. The role would be suitable for both experienced teachers of suitable qualified NQT's.
